IT OFFICIUM / PSN CLINIC

More answers online.
More time for patients.

We expanded the Poliklinika Sveti Nikola website into a tool for patient information, inquiries and content management. The aim was to make answers easier to find and reduce pressure on the call centre.

WHERE WE STARTED

The information was there.
Patients still called.

The previous website introduced the clinic, listed its services and explained them. Patients spent little time on it and often simply found the call centre number to ask for information.

The existing WordPress and Elementor implementation had speed and technical performance problems. Online inquiries were rare, and contact tracking had not been established, so there was no reliable overview of inquiries across different channels.

The call centre received a large number of calls. Some of that time went into repeating basic information that patients could have found before the conversation.

OUR APPROACH

An interface built around
what people need to do.

We designed around finding information and taking specific actions. Clear choices, connected information and straightforward steps towards contact use interaction patterns familiar from web applications.

This approach suits the purpose of this project. For other needs, we also develop more distinctive visual concepts within the agreed scope.

WHAT WE BUILT

The solution in practice.

01

A path to answers

We organized the content by medical specialty, consultation and diagnostic test. Explanations and links guide patients towards information and contact with the clinic.

02

Custom code and administration

We developed a new website and an administration area for managing content and incoming inquiries. The public website and inquiry management are connected within the same project.

03

Usage tracking

We introduced tracking for website use and online inquiries. This established a basis for following subsequent changes and deciding on improvements.

CHANGES IN EVERYDAY WORK

Less repetition.
More room for conversation.

The clinic reports that patients now find more answers on the website, reducing the need for some informational calls. Call centre staff have more time for patients who need help.

The website has become part of the clinic’s everyday work: it helps patients find information and staff manage content and inquiries.

This is an observation from the clinic’s work. We do not express the reduction in calls as a percentage because comparable measurement was not in place before the change.
